How to Delete Your Account In-App
If you no longer wish to use YouTing, you can completely delete your account and all associated data directly from within the mobile application. Please follow these steps:
- Open the YouTing app and tap on the Profile Icon on the bottom right.
- Tap the Settings (Gear) Icon located at the top right of your profile.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings menu and tap Delete Account.
- You will be prompted with a warning message. Read it carefully.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and re-authenticate via Google if prompted.
- Confirm your decision to finalize the deletion.
Warning: What happens when you delete your account?
This action is irreversible. When you confirm deletion:
- Your profile, followers, and connection data will be erased instantly.
- All your Spot posts, map check-ins, and Sponsor Market applications will be wiped.
- Your chat messages will be anonymized or deleted depending on the conversation type.
- We cannot restore your account once this process completes.
Data Deletion Request (Without the App)
If you no longer have access to the YouTing app or face technical difficulties deleting your account in-app, you may formally request a manual data deletion by emailing us.
Send an email to: louiekum@gmail.com using the email address associated with your YouTing account. Please include your Display Name and request account deletion. Once verified, we will securely manually wipe your data within 7 business days.
앱 내에서 계정 삭제(회원 탈퇴)하는 방법
유팅(YouTing) 서비스 이용을 중단하고 개인정보를 폐기하시려면 앱 내 기능을 통해 손쉽게 직접 회원 탈퇴를 진행하실 수 있습니다:
- 유팅 앱을 실행하고 하단 탭의 우측 끝에 있는 프로필 아이콘을 누릅니다.
- 프로필 화면 우측 상단의 설정 (톱니바퀴) 아이콘을 탭합니다.
- 설정 메뉴 최하단으로 스크롤하여 계정 삭제(탈퇴하기)를 선택합니다.
- 화면에 안내되는 경고 메시지를 주의 깊게 읽습니다.
- 보안을 위한 재인증(Google/YouTube 로그인) 과정을 마칩니다.
- 최종 확인 버튼을 눌러 탈퇴를 완료합니다.
경고: 계정 삭제 시 발생하는 일 (즉각 파기 및 복구 불가)
회원 탈퇴는 절대 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 탈퇴가 완료되면:
- 회원님의 프로필, 팔로워, 팔로잉 등 네트워킹 정보가 즉시 영구 삭제됩니다.
- 회원님이 작성한 스팟, 방명록, 밋업 요청, 스폰서 신청 내역이 모두 삭제(파기)됩니다.
- 진행 중인 채팅 기록 및 사진은 파기되거나, 상대방 기기에서의 표시 방식에 따라 익명화 처리됩니다.
- 어떠한 경우에도 삭제된 데이터를 복구해 드릴 수 없습니다.
이메일을 통한 데이터 삭제 요청 (앱을 사용할 수 없는 경우)
앱을 삭제하였거나, 로그인 및 앱 내 구동 불량으로 직접 계정 삭제가 불가능한 경우 고객지원을 통해 탈퇴를 요청하실 수 있습니다.
유팅 계정과 연결된 이메일을 사용하여 louiekum@gmail.com으로 회원 탈퇴 요청 메일을 보내주시기 바랍니다. 닉네임과 구글 계정을 본문 내에 기재해 주시면, 본인 확인 후 최대 업무일 기준 7일 이내에 시스템에서 수동으로 영구 삭제 처리를 진행해 드립니다.
